GeoSpatial Web - "Online maps loaded with “place and time based” data about the physical world."

Mountain Visions has experimented with Digital Elevation Models, Terrain maps and fly by animations for many years, even before we started creating World Wide Web pages and sites 12 years ago. Many of our web site productions have included interactive terrain maps that help a user find a specific location on earth where and when a natural resource project or issue is identified.
When the Google Earth project was announced in June, 2005, it opened up a whole new low cost way, for us and everyone else, of producing amazingly realistic animated movements to any place on earth. It also promoted the geo-community concept of voluntary or participatory GIS, where anybody could find geographic locations and objects and could also post photographs, web site links and other data related to places they care about.
We continue to learn how people around the earth are using new programs like Google Earth, World Wind, and Virtual Earth. Contained in our Google Earth Tour Gallery are several examples of experimental projects we have produced and continue to develop. Please contact us if you have any questions.
